ACTS Information and Support Center

The ACTS Collection is a set computational tools developed primarily at DOE laboratories and that make it easier to write parallel scientific programs. The ACTS Online Information and Support Center is a centralized source of information about these tools. In addition to descriptions of the tools and pointers to documentation and other related tools, there are independent (i.e. not coming from the developers) evaluations and advice on what the tools are useful for. The site provides a "Consumer Report" for the ACTS Collection; our allegiance is to users of the tools, not to developers.

Affiliations

The center is run at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), in collaboration with the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC), and is funded by the Mathematical, Information, and Computational Sciences (MICS) Division of the DOE.

Additional Services

If you would like more information about ACTS tools than what is available at this online resource center, or if you would like help using an ACTS tool in your application, please contact acts-support@nersc.gov. Support for users outside of DOE and NERSC is on a time-available basis but we will help out whenever we can.
