| The ACTS Collection
is a set of computational tools developed
primarily at DOE laboratories and that make it easier to write parallel
scientific programs.
The ACTS Online Information and Support Center is a centralized source
of
information about these tools. In addition to descriptions of the tools
and pointers to documentation and other related tools, there are
independent
(i.e. not coming from the developers) assessments about what
the
tools are useful for. The site provides a "Consumer Report" for the
ACTS
Collection; our goal is to assure that code developers understand what is provided by the tools and use the tools efficiently.
Affiliations The center is run at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), in collaboration with the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC), and is funded by Advanced Scientific Computing Research (ASCR) Program of the DOE.
